Kylie and Jason 'could reunite by Christmas'

Kylie Minogue and Jason DonovanKylie and Jason have not performed together in 23 years

Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan could be reunited on stage by Christmas, according to pop mogul Pete Waterman.
The legendary producer and songwriter had booked the pair to perform at his Hit Factory concert at Hyde Park earlier this month.
Heavy rainfall and mud led to the show being cancelled due to safety fears.
But Waterman now says he intends to resurrect the ensemble concert and stage it in London by the end of the year.
"We are going to do it again at Christmas," he said. "We are going to do two nights at the 02 [Arena], or at least one night."
The concert, he said, would have to fit around plans that one artist still unconfirmed - believed to be either Minogue or Donovan - has to return home for Christmas.

"I just have to convince that artist to stay here until at least Christmas Eve and we can do it all the way we want to," he went on.
Waterman masterminded Minogue and Donovan's early pop careers as part of record producing trio Stock, Aiken and Waterman after the pair shot to fame in Australian soap opera Neighbours.
The PWL record label and studio were referred to as the "Hit Factory", thanks to the trio's work with a host of 1980s and 1990s artists such as Rick Astley and Mel and Kim.
The Hit Factory show in Hyde Park was due to feature other acts with whom Waterman had worked, including Sonia, Bananarama and Dead Or Alive.
It was called off following large amounts of rainfall at the Wireless Festival the weekend before, leaving Waterman "devastated for everyone" involved.
Minogue and Donovan had been due to perform their 1989 chart-topper Especially For You together for the first time in 23 years.
Donovan later told fans he was "extremely disappointed" by the show's cancellation.
